I admit it. I am running WAY
behind this month - please accept my apologies. Some days (months?) are just
like that. I think I will blame the weather...Its mid April and we have
measurable snow. Something very wrong with that!
On a side note, we had a wonderful trip to Santiago, Chile - the Andes are
incredibly impressive! While I was there I found some spectacular Chilean
pewter that I am working on importing - I will keep you updated. And I am
hoping to get our photos uploaded for those of you who have asked!

Annual CCFA Bowl Grovel
Each year,I bowl in the Crohn's & Colitis Bowl-a-Thon to raise money
for research into treatments and a cure for Crohn's Disease and Colitis.
And each year I grovel for sponsorships from everyone I know.
Crohn's disease causes ulcerations of the entire digestive tract from
canker sores, to throat, stomach, and intestinal ulcerations. This is a
cause near and dear to me, as I have had Crohn's disease for 30 years.
For more information on the CCFA and research progress, check out their
website at www.CCFA.org.
There are two ways to sponsor me - either per pin (make me work for it!)
or a flat donation. This year for the first time, the CCFA has made an
online site available for donations. To make a flat donation by credit
card, please click the link below. For all other donations, please email
me directly. All donations are fully tax deductible.
If you have questions or know someone with Crohn's or Colitis who has
questions, please feel free to give them my contact information. I don't
have all the answers, but I know where to look!
Thanks for considering this!

clients for a package that was more appropriate for adoptive families.
We include a baby frame, soft book, stuffed animal and gift book on
adoption as well as baby care products.
Additionally we are now offering "Our Chosen Child" Memory book for
adoptive families - a memory book that reflects the unique and loving
way that adoptive families come to be.

Samples, Etc, Etc
Several things that don't neatly fall into any other section of this
newsletter:
1. This month we are tasting Pick-Up Cookies. These are a delightful
little German cookie that reminds me of a Smore without the Marshmallow.
Like most European cookies, the cookie is less sweet than an American
style cookie, but the slab of chocolate makes up for it!
If you would like to try this month's sample, please
email us with your name and
complete mailing address, and we will gladly send one along to you!
2. Administrative Professional's Day is April
25th. We recommend ordering early as some designs sell out
quickly.
